The Train Tunnel
George Hall, vice president of SIPI, took this picture in 2004. The big "haunted" railroad tunnel is on the CSX railroad between the tiny towns of Fort Ritner and Tunnelton. It is located in one of the roughest and most rural parts of Indiana. The tunnel is over a mile long and to walk in the tunnel is a trip into pitch black! If you turn off your flashlight, you cannot see anything, including who or what is standing beside you.
