LST 325 Tank Landing Ship

The LST 325 was on Omaha Beach June 1944 it also earned two battle stars for WW II service the LST participated in the Sicilian Occupation in July 1943 and the Invasion of Normandy in June 1944.

The death tunnel also called "the body chute" it was a supply tunnel and was used by employees to get up and down the hill in the winter. Transporting the bodies was one of the uses of the tunnel. The tunnel is 485 feet down hill.

Cabbage Cemetery

Daytime orb, this little cemetery has been long forgotten. Just two stones-a mother & her son, William Cabbage, who was born in 1855 and died the same day. If we don't do something to save our cemeteries we too could day end up like this FORGOTTEN. This little cemetery is in Warrick county and I will do something to help save it.
